She's fought against her family's poverty and has to keep fighting to keep what she has. He comes from a wealthy family and can have anything he wants with a simple request. But both have become prideful. Cato and Clove both believe they are self-sufficiant, cold people. So when arrogant meets arrogant, and they're forced to cooperate if they ever hope to enter the Games, can they keep from killing each other long enough to start working together? Or are they both destined to lose everything they've fought for so far?

In this alternate ending of the Clato fanfiction "Needing the Impossible", Cato and Clove make it to the end of the Hunger Games and come out the victors. I could give you a lame synopsis, but I'd rather you just read it for yourself and tell me what you think :)

It would call for a glorified version of the Games to make the fresh the memory of those killed by the districts' rebellion. Now we honor our fourth Quarter Quell. On the one hundredth anniversary, as a reminder to the rebels that the Dark Days only served to tear their families apart, each district will be required to send two sets of siblings. The new government that came with the rebellion Katniss started has been overthrown. President Snow's granddaughter is ruling Panem now, and she has proven to be more ruthless than he ever was. Katniss and Peeta were publicly executed after the Capitol took over again, and District 13 was completely obliterated. Since then, the Hunger Games have been harsher than ever.
