{completed} ✓ When the great seven demigods of the new Great Prophecy went to save Annabeth from Arachne, they didn't realize that two of the world's strongest demigods would fall into Tartarus. Barely clinging to life in the hellhole, Annabeth Chase promised to herself that she would get out of Tartarus with her boyfriend, Percy Jackson. She had to escape Arachne and get to safety. That was her new mission. Jason Grace had no choice but to become the leader when Percy fell into Tartarus. He believes that mistakes will only kill them all- and each mistake was his fault. Gaea is getting stronger each day, taking advantage of the fight at Camp Half-Blood and everyone's flaws. Will the demigods reach the House of Hades in time to save the world?

Percy Jackson and Annabeth Chase, the heroes of Olympus, two of the Seven demigods destined to defeat Gaea, the most powerful demigods to still walk the earth, are trapped in a literal hell. While the rest of the Seven-and Nico di Angelo-travel to Greece in the Argo 2, Percy and Annabeth have to slowly fight their way through the most dangerous place in the world for demigods. They see things that would drive almost anyone-mortal or immortal-to madness, but they push on because they need to find and close the Doors of Death. Otherwise, Gaea and her giants would destroy the world, and the Olympians' reign would end. Could Percy and Annabeth manage to survive the tortures of The Pit and save the world? Or would they slip into the horrors of insanity, Tartarus keeping its steely grip on their minds and souls forever? ((I never wanted to have to write this, but...on hiatus))

This book is obviously book two of the next prophecy. Because it will have an all new prophecy, a prophecy that includes both camps, along with Gaea's helpers, or the hooded figures. Will Percy break his oath? Or will he be loyal to it? Will his fatal flaw get the best of him?
