Middle of the United State and the year is 2115. The world around those who still live in the United States is crumbling. Facts aren't always facts - some of them are considered alternative. Awan and Buttercup are at their house in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Their parents go missing. Their brother is in Colorado. They know he's still alive. Not sure about their parents. Youngest doesn't want to leave the only place she's ever considered home. Oldest doesn't want to know for a fact that their parents are dead. She relies on her faith but is afraid to lose it. So, they leave. Gideon is in Colorado with his friends since high school. They had planned to go to Blackwell University in Kansas. Colorado was where they were celebrating that they got in. It's a tough university to get in. Jasmine and Geoff are having their first child. In the middle of Colorado No medical assistance.
