"Take her." It occurred to me now was probably a good time to speak, but for the life of me I couldn't get a single syllable to pass my lips. The man suddenly gasped at something and looked out onto the street, cursing under his breath. Turning back to look at me, he glanced down to the kid I was now sporting. Darkness covered his face so I could see nothing but the curve of his jaw. The lighting angled my way was most likely worse. Could he even see me? I heard a car engine in the distance and the man's hands squeezed harder, making me cringe. "Take her," he repeated with urgency. "Go." And then he was gone. ___________ It has been two years since Haven found herself in the possession of a baby girl. Now she is moving back to Corvallis, Oregon to go to college at OSU, her original plan when she moved there the first time. But now she has her sister and her daughter coming with her. When Haven steps into the bookstore near campus in search for a job, the last thing she thought she would see is the father who abandoned her daughter. Keaton's presence has Haven on edge, but will she feel the same after she is forced to spend time with the guy she once thought she hated? The people Keaton has spent years running from are closer than he thinks and now his daughter isn't the only one being threatened.

'Standing up I looked straight at Professor Garrett, smirking evilly. "Hi, my name's Christy Evans and I'm an English major. Let's see," I said tapping my chin in concentration, all the while trying not to laugh out loud, "I'm the leader of a group of intergalactic beings who are here to terminate all those who are deemed too conceited for the good of civilization," pausing I gave Professor Garrett a pointed look of my own, "I live on planet screw you, and I'm allergic to bullshit." Smirking and feeling very satisfied with myself, I waited for Professor Garretts next move. ' -When Christy finds her long term boyfriend isn't who she thought he was, what will she do? She's about to begin college-the same one he chose to go to as well. With the help of her best friends and a new forbidden love interest, can she be persuaded to let go and love again?

"What's wrong with your eyes?!" I immediately shouted. He looked surprised by my reaction, but smiled kindly, "I was just born this way. I'm mostly blind in this one." He said pointing at his blue eye. "But I have perfect vision in this one." He said pointing at the brown one. "Does it bother you?" I shook my head, but continued to stare at him.
