"Can I help you ma?" He asked. His voice was scratchy and low and his tone rang out as sarcastic. "What do you mean by 'Can I help you ma?'" she asked him in incredulity. "I said what I said. Now what exactly is your problem?" He asked, obviously nonchalant about this whole scenario. "My-my problem?" She sputtered, gaping at him. "I'm not the one trying to kill myself. In this case, you're the one with the problem-a very big one in fact," she retorted. He sighed deeply once more and looked heavenward, as if to show his exasperation. "Madam, I was clearly staying on my own when you thought to bother me and now you're complaining? Kindly do the both of us a favour and keep walking." She gaped some more. "Mr Man, I cannot keep walking, as you've so eloquently put it. In fact, I'm not going anywhere." ********** Mosope is a man with the weight of the world upon his shoulders. She'll have no choice but to learn that now. Join Tobi in her entirely bumpy ride of: laughter, tears and goosebumps. ⚫ ⚫ ⚫ ⚫ EXCERPT: "...I was just thinking about you then I decided why not get the most beautiful girl in the world something." I chuckled, "if I may ask, who is this beautiful girl you speak of?" I dropped my pen on the book on my table and closed it while directing my attention to Daniel. "You na!" He says and uses a finger to bop my nose making me laugh. "It seems you love teasing people. You've done nothing but tease me since you arrived here three weeks ago." It's been three weeks since school resumed and I must tell you, teachers have done nothing but kill us with classworks and assignment. The pending practicals we are yet to do is also a major problem. "I don't tease people, I just basically state facts." "If I get what you just said then, you just stated a fact about me being beautiful?" I arched an eyebrow. How corny! "Yes. Can't you see how beautiful you are? You look so gorgeous. Your face is so beautiful, your black eyes and the cornrows you have on your head makes you look more magnificent. Your pink lips which I always want to see everyday. Your lovely shape gives me sleepless night..." I couldn't stop blushing as Daniel said those words even though I tried too, but the way he kept saying those words... ⚫ ⚫ ⚫ ⚫ Blurb Credit to: @_mothawriter_

"You lied to me! And that sorry stunt at the Cafeteria during lunch last week was just to woe me then you could use and dump! Here I was thinking we could be something and-" I cut her off. I suddenly became annoyed. "What?" My mood changed immediately. "Let's get this straight, I don't date. Nor will I ever. We are not dating, nor will I ever date you. That is not my thing. I just fuck and move on." I bluntly told her the truth. If she was expecting a relationship from me then hell no. I don't do that. And I can never. That's not my thing. "Wow." She said as I released her wrists and stepped back away from her. "Fuck and move on." She let out a shaky breath. "Exactly." I raked my hair with my fingers. "Isn't that what we agreed on?" I flung my hand in the air while the other was in my pocket. "Agreed on what?" She said as if she didn't hear me. *** What happens when the normal life of a feisty mestiza gets tampered by the king of all fuck boys in RAA? Will things remain the same? - well, I doubt.. He's popular. I have one friend. He's outgoing. I'm quiet. He has a girlfriend. I'm alone. I'm shy and he's purely arrogant. But they say like forces repel and opposites attract. And we're complete opposites. ════════ "Hello, my name is Juliette Hunter and I think you're an asshole" I said to him, turning my body away so I could, once again, try and grab the book I so desperately needed. "Your turn" I added, after a moment of silence, realising that he was too stunned to speak. His recovery was lightning fast however, as he replied with "Hi Juliette, my name is Levi Knight" He paused, allowing his eyes to roam my body, slowly taking me in from head to toe. I looked him in the eyes, defiant in not allowing him to get to me, as my cheeks began to burn. "And I think you could qualify as one of the most beautiful girls I have ever laid eyes on" he continued smoothly. I couldn't think of a smart remark in response to what he had said so I mumbled a "fuck off" before returning to the bookshelf, I was sure my face turned crimson. "Just out of curiosity," Levi continued, now leaning against the bookshelf. I wasn't going to warn him about the fact that it was slowly tipping over. "You're single right?" I wasn't going to tell him that his assumption offended me either. Instead I replied with "Just out of curiosity" I said in a mocking tone "You're single now too, aren't you?" "You're a feisty one, aren't you?" "You're not gonna leave me alone, are you?" I muttered, attempting once more, to grab the book I so badly needed for English. "You're really hot, you know?" "You're really annoying, you know?"
