Teaser: • "The sound of boots clunking on the wooden floor made everyone in the pub fall silent. The person took off their brimmed hat to let long dark hair fall down her back. People started whispering. She got to the counter and stood waiting, while the barman just gawped. "A beer, please," She said boldly. The barman nodded silently. An older balding man smoothly took up the space at her side, and in one quick movement slid his hand around her waist to grab her backside. The woman's face twisted in anger and perhaps a little terror at this violation, and she quickly slapped his hand away and pushed him backwards. Someone whistled loudly, but the woman ignored it. "Kiss me." He orders, slamming my locker shut. "Is she coming?" I ask, turning my head to look behind me, but he grabs my face and makes me look up at him. "Yes, now kiss me." I do as told, getting on my tippy toes as I lean up to kiss him. He kisses me back slowly, before he pins me against the lockers and deepens the kiss. My eyes widen and I try to push him away. This isn't part of the deal. He pulls away, a full on smirk plastered on his face. "I lied." He confesses, turning around. "She wasn't coming." Then, he walks away.
