Clara's problems can be summed up in two words: responsibility and family. After the loss of her mother, life for Clara was never the same. Although she loves her three siblings and tries to be the best sister and lady she can, the weight on her shoulders grows the more she learns and the more she has to know. When her father remarries to a secretive widow, Clara's responsibilities triple overnight. Through no fault of her own, Clara is thrown into an adventure she never counted on-- one of magic, tragedy, and romance. Through palace ballrooms, enchanted forests, and encounters with a handsome stranger she really shouldn't care for, Clara soon realizes that the only way to help her family and fix the problem is to do it herself. The only trouble is that she doesn't know how. A Cinderella Retelling. ----- Cover design made by solidarity_! First draft! *featured by Once Upon A Time as of 9/24/2015*

This story was an entry in Target's OnceUpon Contest, because of this, and a 10,000 word limit all together, it is a lot faster than most stories. If you aren't into a really quick and fast paced story I suggest looking at some of my other stories. Thank you! ~*~*~*~*~*~ Untouchable... Unloved... Unwanted... Ugly. By societies standards, Elizabeth Steele is a low life with no worth. She has no home, no money, no life. No value. Moving from alley to alley every night, scavenging through the streets, she keeps her own and stays away from anyone in anyway that she can, using her mask of imperfections to ward off any unwanted attention. Simplicity is her armor and detachment is her sword. But how long can she go on before being an outcast becomes too much and the walls she's devoted her time to building come crashing down? Glass is only so fragile as the one thing it's supporting, and when Elizabeth's heart is so delicate that all that is left to protect it is a clear and thin sheet of glass, there is no telling when or how quickly it will break. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ Highest Ranking #6 in Short Story

Cast out of the tower where she's been locked up her whole life, Ivy is suddenly all alone in the desert with nothing to call her own, not even her name. Starvation seems inevitable until Leon, a chivalrous merchant comes along to bring her to a city she's never heard of before. From there, life could be perfect were Ivy not still caught up on the secret love affair she harbored in her tower, the one thing that seemed to keep her going, through days of misery. And so begins a whirlwind of adventures. In her quest to find her love, Ivy encounters a family of dwarfs, a beached mermaid, a small town fairy, and all manner of things she could never have dreamed of.
