Erin is getting married, but she doesn't want to. Her life could be falling apart, and it seems like it has been, and her mother and sister could care less. Refusing to hire a wedding planner and not accepting of her mothers help, Erin takes on the challenge of planning her wedding. Months of stressful shopping and dress fittings lead up to what should be the biggest day of Erin's life, but why does she feel scared. No, not nervous or excited, scared. Then she realizes what is missing. The people in her life. The ones that really matter. The ones she went to high school with, the ones she went to college with. Those are the people that belong there, not these robots that her mother invited or the weirdos her sister came with. Not even her own fiance's family. No, she needs the freaks and the haters. The losers and the skaters. And she definitely needs her father. Follow Erin as she goes on an adventure around the country, finding friends, enemies, some dogs, the true love of her life, and most of all, finding herself. "S-sorry?" I choked out, rapidly paling. Its amazing how three words can affect someone so badly. He's GOT to be kidding me. Its just... impossible. I refuse to believe it. He didn't say that. He couldn't have. He wouldn't. "We are partners," he repeated in his sarcastically slow voice. He did. ------------------------------------- Crissane's plan for senior year: 1. Study 2. Avoid the male population at all costs 3. Get that scholarship While everybody saw her as the friendless freak, nobody knew her passion. Cooking. When she walked through the doors of Pristine High for her final year, she expected it to be full of cooking and avoiding people, like always. Besides, she needed to focus on getting that scholarship that she'd been dreaming of for years. Problem. She ended up being paired up with someone. Not too big of a deal, until she learns HE'S clueless in the kitchen. If he could tell apart kitchen utensils, she did not know. Who knew that she'd been brewing herself a pot of disaster? If only she'd known that there was more to that quiet kid that nobody knew, she could've avoided all that drama that year and continued her life as a loser. She wouldn't let this stop her. So much for sticking to the plan. She HAD to get the scholarship. Besides... things change for the better, right?
