one of the biggest problems of being a teenage girl is that you're a teenage girl. ruby dillinger isn't special or anything, but she has her fair share of nanoscale problems — seducing josh kitsey, one-upping ruby lee, passing PE, combatting monsters of the boyish-white kind, her best friend going on a bible-bumping retreat into a third-world country for the next two months, and saving her sister from being roped into a terrorizing girl gang. (ok im doing elisa's challenge like 5 months late w/e) humor #158 teen fic #232

I'm Ashley Febray a 13-year-old witch. Yes, you heard right, I'm a witch. Although nobody seems to care since I really never got my letter to Hogwarts when I turned 11, and I live in the streets homeless and without my parents. If you're wondering how I know I'm a witch and not a squib is because I've used my magic before. After my uncle died I stayed with my aunt (she didn't know anything about me being a wizard) and she sent me to a muggle school to study. But that was her worst mistake. That stupid school ruined my life. Nobody would be friends with me because around me weird stuff tended to happen, but I mean come on! I could not control it! The only person ever to be nice to me was a boy I'll never forget, his name was Harry. But his cousin Dudley was my worst nightmare, he made me who I am today, a freak who doesn't like talking, walking or even looking to another person, so.... I was alone all times except for Harry. The other reason was that I thought i would atleast go to Hogwarts... No such luck. So I had promised myself no more magic, and I kept that promise... Until Today.

"Would you be willing to take a place in our family?” she asked. She said it so simply, so naturally, so kindly. A real family, who understood her. Avery gave a dumb nod, eyes sparkling more then they ever had before. “I would…. Love to,” she whispered, tears forming in the corners of her eyes. Never had she really been part of a family. This was different. Ms. Hart smiled. “Then, My Dear, Welcome to Magic.” *** Avery Delilah Brooke is, from all accounts, a perfectly normal girl. She lives in perfectly normal Grimwauld Lane with a perfectly normal family in a perfectly normal world. Life is fairly uneventful. Until Avery realizes that things don't tend to stay normal forever. Without drama.... would there be a story?

"Everything we hear is an opinion, not a fact. Everything we see is a perspective, not the truth." -Marcus Aurelius Every story has two sides, or in this case, seven. High school is filled with teenage angst, excitement, boredom, secrets, judgement, the occasional pregnancies, homework, and much more. Union Valley High is no different. But attending the same high school does not mean ending with the same outcome. See for yourself through the ultimate perspective of seven candidates: An artist, decorating the walls of abandoned [and not so abandoned] buildings during the secrecy that is night. A Brit, forced out of house and home, struggling to please a pretentious parent. A girl suffocating in the shadows of her older sister's perfection. A brat, who holds a thick mask to her face everyday, to avoid the complication of being herself. A blind girl, wishing someone could see past her ability /not/ to see, and love her all the same. A sister of three older brothers with personalities so loud, they drown out any thoughts she may have for herself. And a boy with a good heart and a sarcastic mouth, who wishes he could find his way in the world, but has no idea how to go about that. Seven souls, old and young, just trying to make their way through high school with minimal damage.

This is just a fun...blurb I guess. It is my idea of online chats between all of the Harry Potter characters, if they had instant messaging. I claim no rights to any characters.
