It's an unfortunate name because it had everything to do with this dreadful day, because the first few things that pop into your mind when someone says "Valentine's Day" is hearts and roses - yeah, love, chocolates and giant teddy bears too but let me complain. I think it's all too dramatic and pointless. But it's even worse when your boss knows you're single and tells you to come into work even though he had already asked you to work on your birthday. Working at a restaurant on Valentine's Day was not my ideal way of 'celebrating' this 'holiday'. Honestly, I just wanted to sit at home, watch some action and romantic comedy films - probably more action than rom-coms because let's face it, yeah I'm lonely on a day celebrating couples but I shouldn't mope about it I mean, I could be like that guy seated at table seven, all alone. ©2015 TypicalFangirlx all rights reserved.

Sometimes, life can be hard-especially for teenage girls. We have to balance an endless amount of new responsibilities all while trying to figure out who we are and who we want to be. Even though my life is constantly subject to change, there is one thing that remains constant: God. Because He is my Lord and Savior, I can find comfort in the fact that I don't have to face this difficult life alone. Confessions of a Teenage Christian is a book I am consistently updating. Each entry covers a topic either I've had a hard time understanding, or one of you have. I have felt God calling me to share my experiences of being a teen and sharing how He has forever changed my life.

This book is written to encourage you to grow closer in your walk with Jesus. From your new life in Christ to walking by faith, things are covered that I, and maybe some of you, may struggle with. Whether you are already a Christian, or you don't know who Jesus is, this devotional will hopefully enlighten you about who He is and the calling He has placed over your life. While I learn and grow in my walk with God, I hope I can encourage you in yours. ❤
