It started on Wattpad but now is EVERYWHERE! With a bestselling book by WWBG, a captivating Webcomic on Webtoon, and a film adaptation by Wattpad WEBTOON studios, you can read, scroll, or watch - there's an experience for everyone to dive into Waverly and Blake's journey. ***** In order to fit in during her summer visit to a beachside town, Waverly must take swimming lessons from Blake, the moody (but gorgeous) lifeguard next door. ***** Seventeen-year-old Waverly Lyons is from Alaska. She doesn't do sun. But after her divorced parents can't agree on who gets to have her for the summer, Waverly gets shipped off to Holden, Florida, to spend a couple months with her aunt, Rachel. There's one minor hiccup: Blake Hamilton, Rachel's seventeen-year-old neighbor. He's athletic, outgoing, arrogant, tan, and pretty much Waverly's exact opposite. She's eager to avoid him at all costs, hoping to fit in with the other kids in Holden without drawing too much attention to herself. But when Blake discovers that Waverly has been hiding the rather embarrassing secret that she can't swim, he does the unthinkable: He offers to teach her. [[word count: 100,000-150,000 words]]

And more surprising still, he acts like he's never seen her before and treats her coldy. Everything happens for a reason. It’s what Ioney Mercer tells herself whenever she pauses to think about the circumstances of her life. Why did her older brother die? Why did her mother leave her with five brothers and sisters to raise? Why did the only person she’d ever fallen in love with have to go? Because everything happens for a reason. Saying it was one thing. Believing it was another. And recently, the mantra had started sounding more like an annoying show tune that could easily be tuned out rather than the unfailing piece of truth she needed it to be. But then, one silly little saying could only get you so far when your life was on the line yet again. More importantly, it meant absolutely nothing when your family was being targeted as well. Things are starting to shake up in Chicago. Callahan Cordero has been released from prison. His first order of business: Revenge on the person responsible for putting him there. With nowhere to run or hide, Ioney has no choice but to engage the enemy head on. The only question left to ask is whether she will stand alone, or if help will come from the most unlikely of places.

Shawna Roberts is the girl that every guy turns to when they need a fake date, a fake girlfriend, a fake fling to make some other girl jealous, a fake couple photo to send to their parents... Shawna's pretty much seen it all. But no matter what they pay her for, everything she does has one common factor: it's all fake. That doesn't make being their paid girl much easier, though. Adam Ferrell is the campus heartthrob with the appearance of a god, an ego the size of Canada, and worshiped by everyone to monumentally ridiculous proportions. In Shawna's mind, it's a miracle his head fits through his shirt every morning. Yet despite their instant dislike for one another, Adam and Shawna each need what the other can offer. When Adam unexpectedly pushes into Shawna's life with a business deal, she's torn between her feelings and her sense of duty, which protects a secret she has kept for years, from even those closest to her. And as the two begrudgingly get to know each other, masks start slipping and secrets come spilling out, forcing each of them to confront some of their darkest moments and deepest fears.

"If the world can't handle the truth, give them a spectacular lie." Bitch. That's what they called me at my old school. I disagree: I'm just brutally honest, that's all. Some people don't like honesty. Exhibit A: Matthew's family. None of them want to acknowledge that their Golden Boy is gay. Exhibit B: My Mother. I only told her the truth: that she was a crappy parent who never should've gotten knocked up in the first place. But she was so offended that she shipped me off to my fabulously wealthy father and his walking-billboard-for-plastic-surgery of a wife. So I devised a brilliant plan. My new friend Matthew was sick of hiding his sexuality. I was tired of obnoxious rich boys hitting on me. So why not pretend to be dating? He wouldn't have to answer uncomfortable questions anymore, and I'd enter my new school as the girlfriend of the star quarterback. It should be easy, right? Of course, I didn't plan on falling for Matthew's brother.
