"I was broken. Nothing, no one could fix me. Until you came into my life again. I wish I had gone with you that day instead of him. Because, now I can't imagine how I spent the previous years of my life without you by my side. You are my savior. You showed me that its okay to be broken and you showed me that I wasn't alone. You were with me. i love you for that. But I hate that I love you. I was never good with love. I'm scared that one day I'll wake up without you by my side. One day you will realize that you are better off without me and I don't want that day to come. Not now, not ever. I love you too much to let you go. I finally have a place in this world and that is next to you. You once said, 'Our mistakes compliment each other.' Truer words than these were never said before. We are both broken and incomplete but together, we're whole and we're fixed. We might be too bad for the others, but we are good for each other. They say all good things come to an end, but I'm bad and so are you. Together, we are horrible. But that just means that we're inevitable. You are mine and I promise to forever be yours." Book 1 in the "Life in-" series Scarlett Rain Rhodes is just like every other 17 year old high school Junior. She goes to school, makes good grades, cheers on her schools squad and tries to stay out of drama. What makes her different is the fact that she is responsible for taking care of her four siblings after her parents passed in a car crash two years ago. Now her life consists of football games, doctors appointments and a whole lot of yelling. After spending two years of trying to keep every person she meets at arms length what will she do when the new guy just can't take a hint? Ashton McClain is charming, arrogant and extremely good looking. He's a perfect guy and he seems hellbent of getting to know the real Scarlett. Not the girl who smiles politely when people talk to her and remains quiet in the back of the classroom. He wants to know the girl who talks nonstop and yells obscenities at bad referees. The problem is that after two years Scarlett doesn't know if she's able to confront that side of her without completely falling apart. * This story is completed * * WON A 2019 CHICK LIT FICTION AWARD Hit 1 Million Reads (2/19/19) Hit 2 Million Reads (4/03/19) Hit 3 Million Reads (6/04/19) Hit 4 Million Reads (7/09/19) Hit 5 Million Reads (8/17/19) Hit 6 Million Reads (11/20/19) Hit 7 Million Reads (1/26/20) Hit 8 Million Reads (4/10/20) Hit 9 Million Reads (5/23/20) Hit 10 Million Reads (8/28/20) #1 in General Fiction (2/05/19) #2 in Fiction (4/10/20) #4 in Humor (1/15/19) #18 in Teen Fiction (3/05/19) #3 in ChickLit (12/22/18) #1 in Drama (4/19/20) #4 in Young Adult (3/15/19) #6 in Teen Romance (1/15/19) #1 in Football (12/ 03/18) #1 in Loss (1/03/19) #1 in Adorable (1/10/19) #19 in Romance (6/18/19) #1 in Teen Love (11/13/19)

If you're one of the quiet kids, and you like it that way, then you're not alone. My guess is that if you have heard the word introvert before, you may have heard it used to describe someone in a negative way. You might know an introvert as someone who is quieter or not as outgoing, but there is a little more to it than that. People often mistake introversion as shyness, social anxiety, or a mental illness, but introversion is actually none of these things. It is simply a personality trait. You can be an introvert and still be a happy, confident person. A lot of well-known people were introverts, like Einstein, Abe Lincoln, Eleanor Roosevelt, Rosa Parks, and even Lady Gaga This book focuses on what my experiences as an introvert have been so far, and the positives of being an introvert. It also gets into some psychology and mental health. Coming from someone who is shy as well as introverted, I also hope to talk about how to deal with shyness and build self confidence. So come join the party! Sorry. I mean the small, quiet gathering.

Do you really need a description? ... ... ... Well, then. It's a book. Made up of puns. (Puns, puns galore!) DISCLAIMER (and long overdue [insert library pun]): Though I sort of stated it before, this is my official disclaimer: about 99.999% of these puns aren't mine (no one has enough of a dead soul for that). The ones not mine I found scattered throughout the Interwebz, on multiple sites and from multiple people, dead or alive, friends and strangers.

From the outside, I may look like I'm just like any other girl but inside, I'm a mess. My life changed all because of what I witnessed and suffered five years ago. That one night still haunts me; just like the 'Blackmailer' from my present. Oh and yes, there's a boy. There always is one, right? But will it lead to anything? Since I'm a hooded hijabi. [ "If dunya is your focus then quite frankly I don't know the answer to your question either. However, Ali, we keep forgetting the real purpose of our life which is why we fail to attain peace. Your purpose should be Him."] Read #TheHoodedHijabi for a dose of a spiritual fiction with a dash of thrill, mystery and halal romance.

Jessica Henney is the most shy, quiet girl in her school. The only thing is she isn't bullied. She isn't really ignored either. Some students invite her over to their table sometimes because they feel bad for her since she didn't have any friends. However, they sometimes don't acknowledge her. Skilar Earnings is a regular student, and a member of the archery club, along with the tennis team. She just recently transferred in. She isn't exactly popular, since she doesn't doll herself up, but she is well-known. When these two first meet, it doesn't turn out to be a good encounter with Skilar's foul mouth. Not to mention Skilar starts following Jessica around and bullies her. But when Skilar's brother, one of the popular guys in school, starts to pick up interest in Jessica, they're forced to be involved with each other outside of school.
