Samuel Brandt woke up with his thoughts written all over his body. His brother woke up with his head missing. His sister woke up to find that her skin would crack open unless she stayed in water. All of the other children in the secluded Iowa town of Oak Knoll woke up having undergone strange transformations. Now, they are all forced to live at 407 West Marshall Street, the mysterious house outside of town. With the new name of The Boy with Words for Skin, Samuel wants nothing more than to hide from his new life. He painfully and unpredictably sheds his skin, there is a Voice in the entryway closet that is often cruel, and-perhaps worst of all for a naturally shy boy-the other children look to him as a leader. As his seven-year-old brother struggles with their new life, as terrifying growls start to come from the pitch black basement, and as his feelings for a girl begin to grow, The Boy with Words for Skin realizes that he wants to change. He wants to put others first, learn from his peers, and let himself hope that things will get better. The Boy with Words for Skin is the first book in the 407 West Marshall Street series. Each book will advance the story but be told from a different character. Book 2 will be The Girl without Eyes.

(title idea by xXkorraXx) (cover by cyberspaces) Freddy is popular. When he enters Junior High School, he already knows many of the 7th, 8th, and 9th Graders. With his wits, charismatic attitude, and look on his face like he's plotting something, everyone certainly loves him. Chica is also popular. She has all the guys crushing on her--including Freddy. She is friends with almost all of the 8th Graders, but she can't seem to hold in a secret that could tear everything she's ever been known for down. Bonnie is a dreamer. She has a small group of friends that stay loyal to her, but she spends most of her time writing in a diary she carries around the school. People who look at her find her "mysterious" and even "weird". Even through this, she will discover a secret that will change her forever. Foxy is shy. He spends most of his time running around the school and finding a corner to cry in. Since he is teased a lot for having all "F's", he barely participates in school activities, which drops his grade even more. One thing he doesn't know is that there is one person who envies him, but is just as afraid to talk. After a chain of events, the group becomes friends. They all empower each other and learn the importance of friendship. But after they find a mysterious hidden passageway in the school, their friendship is tested to the breaking point. (Rated PG - 13 for Intense Sequences of Action and Violence, and a Fight, All Including Teens)

Hello, my fellow followers and writers alike! So, let me start with why I'm writing this. I was sitting in class a few weeks ago and I was reading this story by Gail, I don't remember her last name, (Look up the book title and you'll find it.) called Writer to Writer and it was her responding to questions she got from people on her online blog. She covered simple things like Characters, Plot deciding and other elements of a story in her own creative way. So I thought, why not do the same thing, but only in my way. So, here is how this'll work. I'll update this book every so often, but I will keep adding onto it. If you have a question for me that you'd like answered in a chapter, comment it on the chapter you're reading, OR, private message me and I'll update the story with that question being answered. I like to inspire people and I want to do it in the best way possible, and I just realized that this a viable option. So, thank you and enjoy my advice!!! (Hopefully you'll find it helpful.)
