FANFIC: MAVEN x MARE from RED QUEEN. Book focused on events from GLASS SWORD, but takes its own from there until the end. WARNING: Before reading, I want to get a few things straight. The characters, settings are all owned by Victoria Aveyard. I am a great fan of the Red Queen series, but after reading I still believe that Maven deserves something better that being a monster. I just can't shrug the feeling off that there's more to his side of the story. Aside from original scenes from the Glass Sword, I will be adding different story lines of my own. I know that many will criticize Maven and me for this, but hey every fan has the right to dream, right? AMAZING THANKS to Victoria Aveyard, the woman behind the amazing world of the Red Queen. Thank you for giving something to us.

Highest Ranking #1 in Short Story... A collection of murder, theft, and other riddles. After reading these, you'll be able to say; it was Prof. Plum in the living room with the lead pipe. Do not try these at home! I have not made these up myself, I have just described it a bit more, and given a few details, yet the answer stays the same. Comment what you think!

Amidst all the mayhem, a fiery, free-spirited, oddball walks into Ethan's life. Her name is Juniper Jones. She is the first person in Ellison who seems unfazed by their racial differences, and she promises to give Ethan a summer he will always remember, filled with endless adventure and discovery. In a Futurist-Victorian London, Ex-Carnie Victor Hart makes his living as a dinner party entertainer and mountebank, using the skills taught to him by his Romani mother – the Patterns. When tragedy strikes a wealthy friend, Victor Hart puts his skills to use in an alternative manner. This Steampunk London has its fair share of psychos, sickos, and sadists, and it takes a special kind of mind to hunt them. Victor sees human behaviour in a way few others can understand but only as an outsider; certain parts of his humanity are missing and that disturbs him. As he solves each seemingly unrelated case, a dark pattern slowly begins to reveal itself threatening the heart of the British Empire and even what we feel makes us human. A Steampunk-detective-noir, darker than most, the first volume features four thrilling cases; the first novel in a Duology.

Even in the year 1717, one month, one week, or one day, can make all the difference in the world. One month ago, Tess Willoughby was the daughter of a well-to-do physician in London, and she witnessed the murder of an old seer. Coming into possession of the dead woman's odd ring - an ancient Spinner ring, known by the locals as the Ring of Prophesy, she was wrongly accused by her father of having stolen the ring. Three weeks ago, by her father's arrangement for the family, she became an unwilling passenger on a merchant ship bound for the pirate-infested waters of the Caribbean. Two weeks ago, at her father's insistence, she became forcibly betrothed to a man who she recognized as being the seer's murderer - a man who covets her only for her ring. One week ago, she met a sailor and experienced the thrill of being in love for the first time. Two days ago, she realized that such a secret love would endanger them both, and, heart-broken, she was forced to choose her loyalty. Yesterday, her fiancé betrayed her during a pirate attack and those she loved were slaughtered. Today, she is plotting to save her own life and perhaps to take his in retribution. The ring is urging her to decide quickly... Tomorrow will be too late. A tale of pirates and treasure, love and betrayal, all bound together by a dash of ancient magic, QUINTSPINNER - A PIRATE'S QUEST is a cross-over novel that has entertained both YA and adult audiences alike. Meticulously researched, yet not your typical historical fiction, it presents the blood and the mud of life in the 1700's. Full of high seas action, dangerous magic, and a dash of romance, Quintspinner is a swashbuckling adventure that twists and turns with the fury of a hurricane.
