“Wait. What’s going on?” I was totally confused. “We’re rescuing you” Ricky said, his blonde hair spikey. “You were serious about that?” I asked him. “Yep.” He said, his handsome features grinning. “Now hurry up before they notice” I looked at him in disbelief. “You just blew up the entrance,” I told him, “I think they’re gonna notice.” In the future the richest are the most powerful. Lead by a group of five called the pack, everything has disintegrated into pollution and population. As a result of some off experiments, mutants run loose in the streets, and the government try their hardest to keep it hidden. Human rights are non-existent and hidden behind locked doors are things that make your skin crawl. Blue is trapped in an orphanage, she doesn’t trust easily. When a mysterious teenager appears in a mirror she is immediately suspicious. Ricky is part of a group of rebel fighters. A run away, he lets his good looks and charm get him out of trouble. When he sees a girl with sad blue eyes from a mirror, he can’t help but help. But does he know that rescuing her will uncover a wealth of secrets that tells Ricky the one thing he doesn’t want to know? The truth.

The Empyrean is the only home 15-year-old Waverly has ever known. Part of the first generation to be successfully conceived in deep space, she and her boyfriend Kieran will be pioneers of New Earth. Waverly knows she must marry young in order to have children who can carry on the mission, and Kieran, the handsome captain-to-be, has everything Waverly could want in a husband. Everyone is sure he’s the best choice. Still, there’s a part of Waverly that wants more from life than marriage, and she is secretly intrigued by the shy, darkly brilliant Seth. The New Horizon’s leaders are desperate to populate the new planet first, and will do anything to get what they need: young girls. In one pivotal moment, Waverly and Kieran are separated, and find themselves at the helm of dangerous missions, where every move has potentially devastating consequences, and decisions of the heart may lead to disaster.
