She is an outcast. She finds it easier to express what she feels in the form of writing. Whether it is poems, letters or long texts. These are poems that she writes trying to describe how it feels to live with certain mental health issues, in a world that disregards outcasts. So, these are on the darker side of the spectrum. Some poems might be distressing for some readers. I personally enjoy consuming dark content, it's kinda like a coping mechanism. Ana Mae, is a young and beautiful African american women finally gets her first job as a maid. Shes young , vibrant, and curious. But when she meets her boss, her colorful world goes from glitz and glam to black and white. Literally.

Set in the 1800's, colonial America, this is the story of Mercy Peters, an African American slave woman who gets sold throughout the south and ends up meeting a white man---that ends up changing her life. This story will be more raw than my other stories because I feel so strongly about slavery , and the life of a woman during that time. Enjoy. Might me inappropriate for younger viewers. Guys, I hope the way the story is written does not offend anybody. I only based the way she speaks on excerpts I read in my AP U.S history class. It gets better later on in the story. Again, I have no rude intentions in this story. I am a black person myself and although I am not African-American, I can relate.
