Riele's mom has gotten a new job that requires her to take numerous business trips ranging anywhere between 5-14 days. This quickly becomes a problem so she explains to her boss why she'll have to quit because she understands how situations like that can damage her child. On the other hand, Jace's dad has finally gotten 1) his company to be international and 2) a worker that's too much of an asset and friend. When his best worker comes to see him ready to quit he offers to find a trustworthy babysitter for her daughter which turns out to be his son. (AKA - Parent Project Book) Gather around all the 16-17 year old horn dogs. Charlotte and Henry get paired up for Swellview High's annual Junior Parent Project. The project runs over the course of 7 months and it will put to test everything the Juniors have studied about kids, marriage, parenting and family life. The project will end right before school starts so it's advised you take your vacation during the project. The board provides the kids, home, car but students provide care for the family, the home, and a steady income. Other than that enjoy ! Oh how could I forget ? Charlotte and Henry don't get along, they don't exactly bully each other but they're not on pleasant terms neither.

Charlotte and Henry have been friends for years. They work at the same place, go to the same school and are practically always at each other's house. They'd never think to consider one another in any other way than platonic, especially since Henry has a girlfriend. So why is it when Henry's girlfriend, Bianca, starts to drop hints that she's ready for the next level in their relationship all Henry can do is think of Charlotte in a not-so-brotherly way ?

Charlotte's parents have a fight and decide to get a divorce. The only person truly left for her is uncle. In school she's told that he died in an accident. She's being moved into the Hart household, at least until Henry moves out. At this point she's drained and just wants some peace. Henry's household has been all types of fucked up for a while. At this point none of them can stand each other but they do all agree on the fact that everything is Henry's fault. Henry's fed up and gives them a reason to disown him.
