War was coming. A war that couldn't be avoided. Peridot Vita, the sorceress from the Yellow region, has been assigned to track down the mage that helped the Diamonds into power, in hopes of ending the persistent rebellion. Lapis Lazuli, the princess from the Blue region, is tired of her training as the heir of Azula Diamond and seeks for adventure. The two run into problems from the Pink region, the region that is rebelling against the Diamond's reign that will soon cause the war to break out. Peridot, a freckled, cranky, sandy haired commander is a highly respected member of her battalion. After a mission failure, in which she looses one of her legs, Peridot is downgraded from commanding, to.... cadet training. A spunky, rebellious new arrival named Lapis. Peridot thinks this will be an easy fare, but she is way more over her head then she could ever realize. (This is a military-dystopia AU!)

This is a modern world where all of the Gems and Crystal Gems are dancers. Ever since day one, Lapidot and Lapis had hated each other. But one night can or maybe will not change everything between them as their feelings start growing for each other. Disclaimer: This is extremely short, in my perspective, and has plausible ending.
