"Mum, I can't marry him!" She exclaimed. "Didn't you see the way he looked at me the last time we had a meeting about this? He looked at me with disgust! That man can never love me, mum." "Just focus on the money and fame his name will bring to us." *** "If you expect me to fulfill any obligation as a...husband, to you, then think again." He said coldly. CLICK THE LINK IN MY BIO FOR EARLY ACCESS CHAPTERS ON INKITT!! *** "Calm down," he said as he brushed the broken glass off his forehead. "Calm down?" I shrieked. "You're telling me to calm down after a man just tried to kill us in the middle of the night and is now laying right over there dead!" I said pointing to his limp, none moving body. "He's fine," River said as if it were no big deal. "I didn't hit him that hard." I looked at him in pure shock. What was wrong with him? "Now come on," he said grabbing my arm and leading me away from the man. I looked at him. Sweat had formed all over his forehead and a look of urgency was written all over his face. Blood was now leaking from the nasty cut on his forehead and looked like it would need some serious tending. I looked between him and the guy laying on the ground. I'm probably going to regret this later. I thought to myself as I took a deep breath before nodding and without a second thought, he continued pulling me away. *** Cat was your average girl; she maintained good grades, loved friends, and wanted to become a famous dancer, but her life changes when she literally runs into the biggest bad boy in her school: River Parker. Aka, the boy who doesn't care about anything or anyone except his very few close friends, including Cat's best friend Liam. But little did she know that her 'run in' would throw her into a life of drugs, gambling, near-death experiences, and so much more. And to make things worse, she might be falling in love with him and all his dangerous ways. (I know that this may seem cliche, but please give it a chance) ©2016 Highest rating: #1 in TeenFiction

"So when you gon' stop playing and let me hit that shit, Zuria?" Mitch asked while he smoked a blunt in my mother's living room and we both sat on the floor. "Let you hit this?" I asked, raising an eyebrow as I watched him blow smoke into the air. "Yeah." He smirked, cockily. "How about when you learn how to talk to your girlfriend?" I took the blunt out of this hands and smashed it on the ashtray that was on the coffee table. "Whatchu do that for?" He bit his bottom lip, leaning into me. "Hm?" He went on, softly biting my neck. "I've told you, you can't smoke in here, Mitchell." "You're really not even supposed to be here." I said to him, considering my mother did not condone boys in her house but here he was. He'd completely ignored me though as he mushed his head into my neck, leaving small kisses. "Stop." I whined playfully as he pushed himself up onto me and kissed my lips, pushing me backwards with our lips still attached. "Mitch." I spoke nervously as he climbed on top of me while I now laid my back onto the carpet. "Let me hit that shit, ma." He spoke softly into my ear as he continued leaving kisses on my neck. "Mitch, we cant. My mom will be home from work soon." I expressed to him but he ran his hands up my school skirt anyway. "Stop bitchin'." "Let me finally pop that cherry, Z." He spoke, putting his lips on mine as he slowly moved my underwear aside and rubbed his fingers against my Girl. "Mm." I moaned, unfamiliar with this feeling but it felt great. And though I knew my mother would be here soon, I no longer wanted to stop. He continued rubbing it as I laid there, looking up into his eyes. As I did, he smirked down at me and I smiled small, rubbing a hand down his cheek. I was so in love with this boy.

"I didn't ask for this..." tears threatened to fall from her eyes, her lips quivering in fear. His grip on both her wrists become tighter as he slams them hard against the wall, trapping her petite body in-between the wall and his body, "You'll never have a place in my life, let alone my heart, do you understand?" She winces from the pain from her wrists. He slams her arms against the wall again. He leans in close enough to the point where their lips are only inches apart, "I said, do you f**king understand, foolish girl?" His voice rises as he clenches his jaw in an impatient manner. She nods in hopes that he'll let go. And just like that, he lets go of her as she falls to the floor in utter defeat. What have I done... she asks herself. **Full Summary Inside** Cover by: Me, Myself, and I!

NOW AVAILABLE ON AMAZON!!! 1st book in the Sternato Series (now called Captivation by Kate Taylor) It's a tale as old as time: a daughter paying for her father's sins. Mia Santoro has spent years distancing herself from her father's world-carving out a quiet life and atoning for the blood on her family's hands. But the mafia never really lets go. When her father is caught embezzling from the family, Mia is taken as collateral-dragged into the world of blood and betrayal she's spent her whole life avoiding. All she has is her unshakable compassion and a fierce determination to protect the people she loves. But nothing could prepare her for him-the man who pulled her into this life. Logan Sternato doesn't believe in mercy. He was raised to see love as a liability, emotion as weakness, and loyalty as a price paid in blood. When he takes Mia, he expects fear. Compliance. Obedience. Instead, he finds softness that disarms him-a quiet strength that unsettles him more than violence ever could. She makes him feel. And for a man like Logan, that's the most dangerous thing of all. Surviving the mafia is one thing. Surviving each other is another battle entirely.
