Long, long, ago. A creature rosed from the ground its origins are shrouded in mystery. They said it appeared one day, the sky seemed to darken as the sun ran in fear of the creature. Dragons and humans ran from it, its mere bellowing deep call frighted even the most powerful and dangerous dragons. So Viking's always told children to never wander in the depth of night or you might lose your soul to the warden the most dangerous dragon beast known to mankind. But that was just a story to keep children from staying past bedtime. It can't be real right? But it might just be, strange stuff has been happening around dragons edge and no one is really sure what is going on. But something That has slumbered for eons has started to stir, as its echoing deep bellows can be heard far and wide. It seems the beast has risen and you are now one grumpy giant. (You are about as tall as Meatlug and you have no additional features)

Ragnar spends most of his time on Berk just trying to keep stubborn Vikings alive through dragon raids, the occasional wave of sickness, and (most often) their own recklessness. His best friend, Hiccup, happens to be one of the most stubborn and reckless Vikings on the island and he proves it when he does the impossible during an otherwise normal raid. Ragnar watches with a smile as events unfold and everything starts to change. After all, he's been telling Hiccup for years to stop trying to fit in with their 'traditional' ways. If things aren't working the way they are, then he just has to tip the scales in his favor. Who could have known all it would take to change everything was one scrawny Viking and an injured dragon? Well, Ragnar knew and, really, it's Hiccup's fault for not listening to him.

These are some Hiccstrid one-shots I created. Most are set in RTTE but I will try and tell you where. Some of them are my ideas of how they should or will get together and just some normal Hiccstrid fluff in the middle. None of them are connected and the only ones that are, have parts to them (apart from the Truth or Dare episodes). Astrid Hofferson's father is abusive. After a while, her mother gets strong enough to leave him and takes Astrid with her. Months past and her mom begins to date again, only for the man to become abusive. Astrid grows up to start liking and dating bad boys and she allows them to hurt her, because that's all she's ever really seen a guy do. She attends a new school after moving into a new house with her mom and settling in. She meets a boy named Hiccup and thinks, 'Why would he be any different?'

It's Hiccup's birthday. The entire Berk has planned a party for him, surprising him with many gifts. But Astrid has a speacial extra gift in her mind that she will give Hiccup once they are alone.

Sigrid "Relentless" Haddock is Stoick the Vast and Valka's firstborn child. Surpassing Hiccup by four years, she is 19 years old when her brother catches the infamous Night Fury, which ends up changing the ways of Berk forever. This story will take place throughout all of the movies and shows, which includes in canonical order: How to Train Your Dragon (movie), Riders of Berk (TV show), Defenders of Berk (TV show), Race to the Edge (TV show), How to Train Your Dragon 2 (movie), How to Train Your Dragon 3 (movie) and How to Train Your Dragon: Homecoming (short film).
