Persephone, The bringer of Spring and Queen of the Underworld, book one of The Goddess series. Persephone was a beautiful young hearted soul. Her hair was as red as roses and bright as the sun. Her eyes were green like nature blooming as she touched the ground with her feet. Everywhere Persephone walked flowers sprouted from the ground. She sang songs to the birds and to the trees, telling secretes of little thing. She was her mothers favorite child. She always sat on her mothers lap as she did her work on her golden thrown. When her mother and Persephone whisked down to earth she would create new plants that were different colors and bloomed with new sweet fruits. But even someone as admirable as Persephone, could never go unnoticed by the Gods. One in particular seems to have taken an interest.

As I looked up at my Husband, Zeus, I took the crown that was placed atop my head and held it in front of me. The beautiful leaves that once adorned the crown started to fall down. Once they hit the White marble floor, they crumbled into tiny specks of gold. One by one, the leaves fell, just like my respect for Zeus, who looked livid as he glowered at me. As I looked at his beautiful face and felt a single drop of tear that hung on my eye lash fall down, the remnants of the crown blasted into golden dust. I began walking towards the door. "You foolish Goddess, you do realise you will have no respect once you step out of this castle without my name and the title of the Queen of Gods!" said Zeus. I continued walking till I reached the door. I looked over my shoulder and said something that I should have said long ago, something I was scared to say as a Queen and a wife. "I don't care." * * * Rough, hard hands, now soft, caressed my back, pulling me close. His fresh, musky scent entered my nostrils, calming the hiccups assulting my body. "Sh, Lys. Calm down. It's okay. I've got you. There's no need to be upset." Anger coursed through my veins as I sprang up and spoke to him in a deadly whisper "No need to be upset? No need to be up-flipping-set? The boy I loved died to save me. He sacrificed himself to the ocean. To you, to you oh great and powerful Poseidon, to you. So when you go through that and get upset well boo-frigging-hoo." * * * Allysia cut herself off that day. Never spoke another word after those 6 words. Blocked all emotions. Until Poseidon DO NOT, I repeat NOT, expect updates to this story to be quick and regular, I merely write when I fancy. Also this is unedited and therefore imperfect, when I have completed it I will go through and edit it thoroughly. #709 in fantasy - December 12th 2016 #460 in fantasy - June 29th 2017 #288 in fantasy - July 16th 2017 #578 in fantasy - October 6th 2017 #519 in fantasy - December 5th 2017 #203 in fantasy - December 12th 2017

Dreams. They're only dreams. Strange, brutal dreams, straight off the pages of an ancient Greek mythology book. That's what Mandy Burkhardt tells herself, stocking shelves at the Occult Bookstore in Chicago. Her boss senses more. He feels something. An awakening. The prophecy. The others can, too, even if they can't quite put a finger on it. As the hidden power inside of her grows, an ancient spell comes to life, compelling her back to her rightful time and place: ancient Greece, a barbaric era of witches and gods, gorgons and oracles. Witnessed by new friend, Ryan Taylor, Mandy's disappearances can no longer be denied. Together, they try to discover what's happening to her and why but in the process become targets in a deadly and sinister plot. Caged, trussed, shackled and hunted, Mandy must come to terms with her past and fight for her future in a bloody battle to the finish with even more at stake than she knows. * * * Bringing legend back to life in this present-day fantasy thriller, the Medusa Deception gives readers a glimpse of ancient Greece and the gods - their thirst for power and revenge - their treachery and lies.

Four empires united by a powerful authority known as the "Magic Council", has reigned over the four corners of the earth for nearly a century. East, West, North, and South. These four empires are formally known as... "The Compass of Casters." The Compass controls the rotation of the earth and keeps peace and balance throughout the world. However, there's one empire that is feared greatly by both humans and casters, an empire that reigns over the eastern lands titled, "The Sacrificial Casters" or "Saki's". When a bloodline of this empire obtains the title of full-fledged Caster; normally called True-Caster, they've exceeded the boundaries of magic and can use it without the use of "Monarian" language. There is a catch however. In order to obtain the title of True-Caster, a person of equal blood must be slain. Thus, aiming to obtain that title in the Saki Empire has been forbidden by the magic council. Those who had tried to obtain it after the law was set in place, were mercilessly executed. Our story begins with the birth of a baby, one that carries the blood of a Saki and became full-fledged at it's birth. Created by: Dimonlee Moore (@x_caster) Cover by: K. Weikel (@renesmeewolfe)
