"Don't judge a book by its cover" is a common phrase people use to stop others from judging a person or a thing. My name is Melanie Collingwood and I am a Ravenclaw. However, according to the Sorting Hat I was supposed to be a Slytherin and it took me a while to understand why. My parents are Muggles, or at least that's what they've told me since they don't like to talk about their past. "He will find you. You can't hide from the Dark Lord" Ha! Did you think Voldemort came back just to kill Harry Potter? Well, he wanted something else. He wanted to find the heir. *This story is based on Harry Potter by J. K. Rowling.

"My gaze flicked to the side to see that my head was on someone's chest. The other person smelled like cigarettes and pizza. I arched my neck to get a clearer view. My eyes widened when I saw Landon's face. His eyelids were closed in dense sleep. Every now and then, they would twitch like images of his dream are alternating through his mind. I hadn't noticed how long his eyelashes were until now." Rylee Emerson has always known the big bad city of New York. She thrived there as a non-caring rebel with her partner in crime, Claire. Until her brother gets fired from his big-time marketing company. He decides to pack everything up and take Rylee along with him to a remote, who-knows-where little town where Rylee hates every single second of it. The moody teen gets a surprise when she meets a guitar-playing boy in an old park. And knowing Landon, meant knowing Dana and August. This is a story about rock music, little cacti, coffee from Trina's and maybe even a little bit of teenage romance. Please note: There is swearing in this book, so if it bothers you, either ignore it or read something else. Please don't spam me telling me I'm setting a bad example...cuz I really don't care what you may think.

Just a collection of questions frequently asked by teens and the answers to them as well as random teen-ish thoughts that manage to find their way into the young minds now and then....so let's get into a weird contemplation of our freaky thoughts in a totally (I hope so) non freaky way. P.S. It's just a random book which is being written just to past time. Any similarities between the situations or thoughts that are written down in this book are just reminders of how alike we are even after pretending to be otherwise.....

For some weird reason, everyone has always been interested in and attracted to the tragic, classical fantasy. Well, guess what? The world isn't some fairytale that plays out where the villain is slain and the hero emerges victorious. However, we all have the backup plan. Cliches. And, not to judge, but cliches are beginning to get overrated. Well at least, in my story they are. Because we always have to have the nerdy good girl and the rebellious bad boy, right? There's the mean girl, the player, the innocent and happy bystander / sidekick. But who knows? Everything could fall apart. Just because of one simple mistake from the girl in the middle.
