Joseph is a 16 year old boy starting as a Junior in high school. He was born and raised in Chicago, and secretly plays the piano like Mozart himself. He doesn't have his life entirely figured out yet, even though it's time to think about the future. But with the new girl at school, Gwen, who can focus on jobs and college and when all he can think about is her?

Gwenith is a kindhearted person with an obsession with Broadway, and has a wonderful personality. Her life is rather normal, except for the fact she lives with her aunt because her mother abandoned her at age 3. But her life is turned upside down when she meets a new kind of girl.
