In the year 2026 something began tearing down the world. Cities were being blown up and destroyed, as if some massive thing were crashing through it. But nothing was seen. Nothing was heard. It was just utter disaster. People panicked as this began happening to every civilization and even natural places such as mountains and valleys. Something was destroying it all. Clearly whatever monster this was, was invisible. But it wasn't invisible all the time, people had caught slight glimpse of something massive in the sky or crashing into a city. But as quick as they saw it, it vanished. This story begins in the year 2048. People started living underground and an organization called The DOTTD was formed. The organization was committed to seeing this thing and putting it to a stop. The story starts with a 17 year old boy named Travis. Travis lived underground like the rest of the human race. He has 3 close friends, Kaden, Marcelyn, and Alex. But as the monsters raging gets more intense, Alex had begun acting...strange.

A world that began bringing the deceased back to life as decaying, rotting flesh. They now roam the land and kill everything in their path like wild animals. Survival instincts take over their entire body, leaving who they once were, in the dust. Come along with a girl as she goes on a journey to find the person who started it all. What will happen along the way? you'll just have to find out.

Minho has gotten through the Maze and now the Scorch. He's been the leader for a while now, and he always puts his friends and the task at hand first. But when Phase 3 of the Trials comes along, he's faced with a task like no other when he meets sweet Cress: opening up his heart.

When tensions flare into an-all out rebellion, Sapphira's hometown is turned into a city-wide warzone. The Magistrate are ruthless in restoring order within the blood-soaked walls, catching civilians in the crossfire. Hope is scarce. What more is there to do but flee with what survivors remain? This is a spinoff backstory for a D&D campaign based in the world from "Paladins: Champions of the Realm." Plenty of intellectual rights shenanigans here that I'm not smart enough to address, but it's all in fun. When writing I kept the theme from D&D world of "letting the characters choose wrong/useless paths to explore" as an unnecessary rule imposed on myself, which took more effort than I expected due to sidetracks, but I still enjoy the story that resulted. I wrote this rough draft with the *intention* to go back and polish it someday... Buuuut eh, I probably never will. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
