The city-state of Denton is in a desperate position, situated between the two warring nations of the Kyirnath Contingent and Manyvale. And when put into desperate situations, people are likely to do terrible things, even when not stalked by the nameless fear left over from the ages of forgotten fantasy and mysticism. One of those citizens is Kory Rothchild, an advertising agent and amateur in journalism, a victim of harsh actions, times, and people. Whatever happens, one thing is for certain. Denton and its citizens have a great deal of trials yet to come.

“Love is a psychological and physiological phenomenon, made of synapses and hormones, endorphins and dopamine receptors, pheromones, experiences, commonalities, mutual attraction. Not the muscle of the heart. Inexact metaphor. Designed for poetry, not accuracy.” First person, present tense story told from Sherlock's point of view. Written in early 2011, prior to series 2.

A short story set in the fictional "Free Isles", a collection of squabbling trade nations built on a group of islands in the southern sea, just off the coast of the continent of Khavaril. This story follows the last weeks of a waning ruler -- turned mean and broken by age, responsibility, and wealth -- as his servants and supposed allies plot to kill him. The conspiracy was planned in order to replace the Earl with his younger brother, a far more lively and capable man.

Terrific: Colossal, excellent, terrifying. This is the word, in every sense of itself, that can best describe what is to be found in the mountains. The locals know it, the travelers know it, and those who emigrate away know it all the more. But one man, a destitute nobody traveling away to take a break, to think on his life until this point, knows it not. One thing in his future, however, is assured: When this foray has met its end, he will certainly know that nameless thing.

*****WATTYS 2015 WINNER!***** WATTPAD STAFF PICK (9/7/15) In the end, the robots win. But you already knew that. "Everyone Died + My iPhone Stopped Working" is a collection of short interviews with some of the survivors. People who have tremendous insight into the rise of Artificially Intelligent machines or, more often, don't. Why did the robots rise up? What did they want? Why couldn't they be stopped? Can they be stopped now? Is humanity doomed? And what the f--k is going on with the squirrels? You will get the answers to all of these questions. Or some of these questions. Or none of these questions. We'll see. I will be updating this once a week until I run out of stuff that I find funny. Then I'm done.
