It's time for the Gilmore Christmas party...the last one in Hartford before Emily finally sells it. Rory had only told a few important people about the pregnancy, but it seemed that fate would be changing that...starting now.

Rory has been working at the Stars Hallow Gazette and doing a bit of freelancing here and there since she landed the job when Bernie retired and it's been four years since she and Logan said that final goodbye in New Hampshire. But what happens when she lands a major interview at the New York Times in the big city and she runs into none other than Logan Huntzberger.

Rory and Logan meet in a different place, at a different time. Both of them have a different reason for running. How does the story start and end?

This story starts a year after season 7. Rory is on the campaign trail and is looking for another job when she runs into someone from her past. Inner thoughts are in italics
