"I don't want you either." I murmur, knowing he'd hear me. He did, and his body tensed, his hands balling at his sides. Of course, I was lying and of course I felt the same feeling in my chest like a knife stabbing at my heart. I knew, Dakoda knew, that somewhere in there, I would and will always want him, but I refuse to be broken over him. ¿*? In the world of werepeople, there is one thing -- the main thing -- that every girl dreams to have, a man to cherish her -- a mate. And the worst thing that can happen in this world, is getting rejected by the one person who should love you forever. And when you've never had anything close to affection in your life, getting rejected is ten times worse.

They call her Red. An expert in poisons and deception, the small girl has brought armies to their knees without once lifting a blade. A vermillion haired monster hidden behind the face of a doll. ~~ I smiled up at the men, "Would you like a cookie?" They peered into the basket I held out, spotting the heart shaped treats. "They're cinnamon with apple Jam. I do promise they are to die for." The taller mans eyes narrowed, "did you give the poor fool dead on the road a cookie?" My lips parted, "a dead man? Oh my..do you think it is safe?" "..depends on who you are miss, why did you say you were in the woods again?" I smiled gently, "I didn't." He rose a brow. "I'm delivering these," I shook the basket a bit, "to my dearest grandmama." He hesitated for only a slight second, "oh. well. be careful then. These woods can be dangerous." I nodded once still holding out the basket, "so would you?" "Would we what?" I giggle a bit, "like a cookie silly." "Ah.." he scratched the back of his head, "sorry, I'm not too fond of apples." Damn it. I sighed softly, "strawberry next time then." "Right..." As I turned to go I looked up at the two tall men, "you be careful now too gentleman. There are wolves in these woods." They nodded rigidly as I spun and began to skip off, giggling to myself. He asked the wrong question. I didn't give the dead fool a cookie. I gave him two.

Shoda Yuuto lived a peaceful life. He's what you call an Otaku and he was a major Otaku geek at that. His favorite type of anime and manga was fantasy. One day, Yuuto was walking in the city while looking at some updates of his anime and manga until he was hit by a truck. Yuuto thought he was done for and complained about missing out on new anime episodes and manga chapters. That is until he woke up in some kind of room. He thought that this was heaven until a Menu screen showed up in front of him. He was curious so he looked through the menu and saw that he was known as a Professional Magician or Magic user. He was excited because he found out that he was sent to another world. The only problem with that is when he saw all the magic spells he could use, he didn't find any combat magic spells like [Wind Cutter] or [Fireball]. He then found out that he was a pro at all magic spells except anything offensive. How will Yuuto live out his new life as a magic user when he can't use any offensive magic spells?

[SEQUEL TO SPELLBOUND] --- Remy Morgan is not quite sure what to do with herself when she returns to the Mortal World without Maksim Opal, a warlock whom she cannot help but have feelings for. She must reacquaint herself with the monotony of everyday life, a family who no longer understands her, and a friend who she has betrayed. However, the world of light and dark magic has not quite finished with her yet, and she finds herself being pulled back into Maksim's world through no fault of her own. Meanwhile, in Astracia, Maksim must deal with the aftermath of the Dark War, which only occurred in the first place because of his older siblings. He must confront his own darkness, too, and perhaps the darkness of his mother, whom he is sure he can no longer trust. He is not the only one who is struggling. Tykon Trevils must deal with the death of his mother while also taking care of Annika, a naive witch who has made a few too many bad decisions and is now under house arrest. Things only complicate themselves further when he blames Maksim for his own grief, and his sister comes back to Astracia to mourn. Then there is Ackmard, who rather thinks he has had a change of heart after realising that perhaps his sister is not the person he hoped her to be. Will he redeem himself, or delve further into the world of dark magic? One thing is for sure; nothing will remain the same as it was. --- [AN: I would highly recommend reading the first book, Spellbound, before this one. It continues where the first book left off] #754 in fantasy: 14/02/2018

Penny: I still remember the first moment our eyes met, something happened. Those icy blue eyes. I couldn't take my eyes off of him. I could feel the magnetic pull and we're both helpless against it. Our eyes met constantly across the room. He would be the first to tear his eyes away. He's so powerful, though. So charismatic. He's a lycan. I'm just a regular werewolf. I couldn't stop thinking about him. I made up my mind that I would make him love me. I would fight for what I want. I would deny my own mate if it means I get to keep him. Three years I went after him single-mindedly. I laid my heart out for him. He kept pushing me away. Then one day he pushed too far...and I'm tired of fighting for us. There's no us. I'm just a fool. I'm done fighting. I made up my mind that I'm going forget him. I'm going to go out there and lose my virginity, over and over again if I have to. I mean, why hold on to it, right? It's not like I'm getting an award for keeping it the longest. Not likely that my mate will keep his virginity for me. Darius certainly didn't. Why the double standard? So, why can't he just leave me alone now? Why is he so hellbent on breaking me? Stupid lycan. Ughhh...stupid, stupid lycan. Darius: The moment I laid my eyes on her, I knew she's my erasthai. The one. The exotic looking dark haired beauty. Dark eyes taunting me. Haunting me. Only I'm not looking for the one. I'm a warrior, there's no room for a mate. A mate will make you weak. My enemies could get to me through my mate. Then it happened. She finally gave up. For some reason, it makes me mad. Not only did she give up, but she gets this crazy idea that she's going to lose her virginity to some random stranger. Fvck that! That's not going to happen. Nobody else is touching her. I'll make her wait until she finds her mate. She's so stubborn, though. She's driving me crazy. So, why can't I leave her alone?
