War and conflict have torn apart the life that Nora once remembered. Now abiding in the bed of a giant ship she finds herself scrounging for meals in the midst of her mom's fatal sickness. It isn't until a horrendous storm comes in and causes Nora to be lost at sea on a small raft with a series of vastly different individuals. Welcome to the world of the nomads, an island that poses deathly threats and wild beasts. Nora and her crew must overcome the trials and tribulations of a world bordering the opposite of a reality she once knew.

Prophecies are works about journeys and saving clans via StarClan's designated cats. StarClan can't predict everything though, right? Sparkfur is hated by much of her clan. She's much more intelligent than any other cat, she's sassy, and an annoyance. They have half a mind to kick her out, but at the same time, they would never put the deputy's sister in the dangers of being a loner. That's the difference about DrizzleClan and its fellow bordering clans: the rogues are savages that will murder any lone cat in cold blood if they don't join up with the growing Rogue band. So no blunt prophecy from the heavens, but we do have Sparkfur and her tense-relationship with her brother Berryfoot to stop the massacres.
