Life is a rollercoaster with ups and downs and all. Good days pass by and you don't notice. Bad days pass by and leave you noticed.... Nobody expected the sudden terrible change in 17 year old Meera's life. Once the most talkative girl in the house turned into a girl who hardly talks after her parents death. She is now surrounded with the buddies of darkness. She is afraid. She is an introvert. She is broken. Just imagine your life without your parents. A life without friends. This poem was inspired and composed while I was in Washington DC at the National Mall site seeing and reading then suddenly I was inspired to write a letter to the nation on how I feel as a black man in America and a gave my opinion on why lower class citizens especially African American/ Hispanic feel the way they do about our government. I am not a poet or politician I'm just expressing my feels, views, and observations through the pin.
