Mitch has been working hard to get to where he is now, medical school on a full-ride scholarship. He lives alone and is content with his life. Up until the day his friend Kirstie asks if her friend could stay with him as he starts going to his school after coming all the way from England. But what Mitch didn't expect when he accepted her offer was that he'd fall for the foreign student.

Mitch is a junior at NYU majoring in fashion. He takes an intro to cinema class for fun, but what's NOT fun is how hard he's crushing on the hot grad student teaching it. Okay, maybe it's kinda fun. FLUFFY because I'm me, but also vaguely angsty. This fic would probably be classified as student/teacher, but even if that's not normally your cup of tea, you might like this one. It's really not gross or uncomfy and they're aged 21 and 24 so there's nothing sketchy. Updates at least once a week!

Mitch has a superior olfactory sense and a good memory for scents. There is however one scent that he simultaneously craves and wants to forget, the scent of a boy he used to love. Prompted by Mitch's tweet: "I know a fragrance is gonna work 4 me when it smells like a boy I was/would be in love with."

Alexander Kirk is the first to notice. Mitch and Scott have been best friends for years, and they thought that nothing could change their friendship. But as life goes on and they're forced to make some changes, they realize that something is different..and maybe is too late to do anything.

"I take every boy there just to make out with them, you were nothing special, Scott." But he was. Scott was special. Mitch just didn't want to admit it. Not after they fought for so long and broke up. Scott had a hurt look on his face, but Scott isn't really one to share his emotions or burst out crying in front of someone he loves so dearly. So, he nodded his head. "O-okay. Um.... I guess you should leave then." Mitch nodded, "Yeah, yeah I probably should." ***** A/N: this story is based off of the Superfruit book. But with my twist on it. This book doesn't have any major spoilers, so don't be worried about that. All spoilers of the book have been posted on social media. Mitch is the new kid at school, and he almost always has his nose in a comic book or just a book such as Harry Potter. Scott notices he likes comic books, and starts talking to him. When Scott sees what's inside the comic, he realizes something about Mitch that gives him a little bit of hope between the two of them.
