When destiny takes over, a young girl's life is turned around on her 15th birthday. She finds she has a secret...a secret she didn't even know about.

Aki woke up one day, bound for school. On the way, she finds a yellow cat with a star on it's head. That's when she discovers that she's a Sailor Senshi, Sailor Celeste. The cat, Hoshi explains to her that no one knows how she became a Senshi. She winds up moving to Tokyo and she meets another Sailor Senshi, Usagi who she forms a powerful friendship with. Eventually they find the rest of the Senshis and learn of her real identity, Princess Serenity's younger sister, Hotaru. She discovers that in her past life, she was stolen from the Moon Kingdom and that her life is known as the Lost Star.

Celest has always had the odds stacked against her, after suffering years of abuse from her parents she decided to run away to fend for her self. But that wasn't as easy as she thought. After having the last of her money stolen and being beaten and left for dead, she is found by Amara, Michelle and Trista who take her in and help her to find her feet. But when a new evil arrives the Sailor Scouts are called to fight, will cellist realise who she is. Or will it be too late?
