For a moment, let's just imagine a world where timetravel is possible, but strictly bounded by the laws of physics. One of these laws is the so-called principle of self-consistency. The principle dictates a zero probability of past-changing events that give lead to a state of paradox.
Just before Reyle is offered the promotion of a lifetime, he meets a man who claims to be from the future. Is this all just a silly coincidence or is there more to his confusing story?
