I live in the most expensive city of the world, a cosmopolitan capital. It's vibrant with all its people, it's loud, it's crowded. It's beautiful. But I'm not part of it. I only see it from behind a window, high in the sky, away from everyone else. Just like in that old fairy-tale, my mum keeps me inside the penthouse, as high as it can get, doors closed to everyone else but her. She says the world outside is scary, it's horrible and cruel and I'm better off inside, where no one can harm me. I don't have real friends. I don't have even school friends. I don't have anyone else but my mother. I know she wants to protect me, even if she doesn't tell me from what exactly, yet I know she has the best intentions at heart. I just wish I was allowed to play outside, from time to time. This is my life, however I do tell myself sometimes: Someday, you'll break free, Roselle. BOOK 6 In the Aware Princess Series flower: Purple Lilac, it symbolises "first emotion of love."

Ashley Martin has been through more grief than a person experiences in their entire life and carries baggage that no kid should ever entail. Tyler Miller is the school's scandalous bad boy who acts on impulse, blinded rage and will single-handedly destroy anybody who stands in his way. Then all of a sudden, they're thrown together and despite their destructive past, they're forced to overcome their differences. It's time for Ashley to stop running away from his death glares, blank stares and that spine-chilling scowl that reminds her just how little he cares. Driven by a whirlwind of secrets, a class assignment and midnight walks into the past, things should start working out. But then fate kicks in; hard-hitting and soul-crushing. It's a fight-or-flight situation, a reincarnation of her past, a chance for him to right the wrongs he did by her. A second chance is like giving someone an extra bullet for their gun after they missed you the first time round. So here's Tyler's gun. Here's Ashley's heart. And here's to their second chance, however hopeless it may seem.

Sick of cliché Wattpad books? Then this isn't the book for you. We take every single over-used plot, character and trope on Wattpad - from player-meets-nerd to my-boyfriend-is-a-vampire - and mash it all into one, awful, hilarious parody. NOTE: This is a parody. Characters have not been created to mock a race/nationality/sexuality, they have been created to lightly poke fun at the way certain teen fiction writers reduce them into crude stereotypes. Thanks for helping this pile of junk get to #1 in Humor!
