When as a political alliance, Princess Khushi had to get married to 65-year old Maharaja Kishore, his existing wife, Maharani Anjali felt threatened. Sensing the new Queen as a trouble, Anjali asked her brother, Prince Arnav, to make Khushi's life hell. How could Arnav deal with Khushi when he had got attracted by her beauty? Will Khushi ever accept his advances? Will the lust ever change in love? And will they know? What's the end of this Kalanked immoral attraction? Based in Medieval India...to be exact 14th century, the novel is a journey of Prince Arnav and Queen Khushi's temptation, where Prince is snobbish, cold-hearted and arrogant. On the other hand Queen is quite opposite, a naive and inexperienced maiden. The story has adult themes, so your discretion matters. Now let's talk about the title. The literal meaning of the hindi word 'Kalank' is blemish. But here it is used in the sense of 'recrimination'. The story is not completely based on KJ movie, so you can breath a sigh😜😜😜. Just to inform the readers that my story is inspired from one of my favourite fanfictions which was left incomplete by its author...

When a reserved and introvert Arnav had agreed to marry, on the suggestion and incessant demands of his family, he had only accepted the alliance hoping that his would-be-wife would be a bedmate, or a room-mate at best. He had no intention of acknowledging the presence of her in his life other than that because he didn't believe in an arranged marriage owing to his past. However the quiet companionship along with the care that his wife had brought about with her had thawed his frozen heart and unlike his usual self, he had started warming upto her. Their relationship would best be termed as complicated for the way it had started on a rough note, from both their ends. But with the span of time he had felt the change in the dynamics. Khushi, on her part, had to put up with the circumstances life had thrown her in. Her dreams of a prince charming sweeping her off her feet had been shattered long before she had found herself married to a man who was every woman's nightmare come true. And it hadn't taken her long to realize that her husband was merely sailing in the same boat as her's, except that he didn't have a heart like her. He was a man who was driven by need because no matter how unwilling she was she couldn't help notice the sexual tension that surrounded her, or them, whenever she was in the vicinity of her husband. Their days didn't have much to offer, but the silence of the nights brought with it an awkwardness that had started to set into their relationship, a relationship that didn't need words, but mere touches and glances that were enough to evoke those feelings in their unfeeling hearts, the difference in their class, upbringing and status notwithstanding. Would their evolving feelings be enough to cement a marriage that they had walked into unwillingly? ****

World weary and cynical, Arnav Singh Raizada falls for a slip of a girl his sister challenges him to seduce. It's a different matter altogether that when he breaks her heart, he breaks his own and years later, she seems to have moved on while he is still a fool who has loved her for far too long... ................................................................. "You need me to call you bhaiya?" She taunts. "I don't know a man who likes hearing "Bhaiya" from random females." "You would be correct," He agrees grudgingly. "And Arnav Ji is too old fashioned and Bollywood for me. It's not as if I am gonna see you after this wedding wraps up. I have no plans of subjecting myself to pointless human interactions and connections with Payal's in laws and her family." She fidgets a little, extending first one leg and then the other to rest it against the floor. Her skirt rides up a little while she is making herself comfortable and he is treated to the sight of her pale, delicate ankles. "Ouch! And here I thought we might be bonding over your juvenile antics and a love story I can't wait to hear." His eyes are still on her ankles and he feels like a perv as he continues staring. She has painted her toes black. Arnav needs to look away if he doesn't want to sport half a boner because a barely adult chit flashed him her ankles.

If Arnav Singh Raizada cared about two things, it was the happiness of his dear sister Anjali, and to be powerful enough to buy back his ancestral home. Emotionally unavailable and unbothered, ASR's dating history was reflective of his un-callous behavior towards any other person who dared to care about him, and found themselves victim to his oozing arrogance. This series of one-shots were written with the intention of being headcanon, and giving a peek into the breakups between Arnav and his temporary significant other of the moment. The list of names is from Episode 13 of Season 10 of IPKKND (as numbered on Hotstar), where Khushi asks him about his pasts.

What if Arnav didn't see that scene on the terrace? What if Khushi gets on the car meant for Anjali ? What if Arshi's love story continued to bloom , not being ruthlessly cut off by ASR' s misunderstanding? I had loved those small romantic moments during the pre wedding rituals , and I would love to recreate what it would've had been if the terrace scene wasn't seen by Arnav !
