==WARNING== I wrote this a couple of years ago and it isn't well written. I am hoping to rewrite this but for now this will be up. Before you read this you should probably reconsider since the plot is cliche in the worst way possible, some scenes are hard to follow and lets not mention the multitude of spelling errors and grammatical mistakes. SO READ AT YOUR OWN RISK DONT TELL ME I DIDNT WARN YOU Now for the $H!T Description: Let me introduce myself, my name is Rhea Lyon but in school I am known as Rhea Matthews or 'nerd girl'. My father owns the largest chain of high class schools, hotels and restaurants and my mother owns the most successful range of fashion. Everyone expects their daughter to be a beautiful supermodel, but what can I say? I care more about science and maths than I do for fashion. I am someone most people would call a nerd. I stay invisible to everyone except my best friend Jessica Fawk; no one in the school even knows that I am the sister of the school football team's captain. Then one day when I come home I discover something I never thought I would encounter. I decide that the bullying has to stop. Jessica and I change completely, from the nerds to the most popular girls in school. We learn to defend ourselves, how to be confident and we never let anyone step on us anymore. And on top of all of that....well, there are guys.

Being a fashion model is nearly every girl's dream. But what happens when dreams come true? "AT THAT MOMENT, IT HIT ME. I was a mere mortal in a room full of demigods: actors, actresses, bygone legends of the stage and screen; men and women who had traipsed down red carpets all of their lives, whom the rest of the country, no, the world, had pined for, had paid to know the secrets of. Here I was standing among them, cavorting with twenty-first century royals." Eighteen-year-old shy, suburban aspiring model Catherine Watson longed for adventure, for a life less...ordinary and moves away to pursue her modeling dream in New York City. When she is "discovered" by the hottest fashion designer in the pages of Vogue magazine, "Cat" thinks she has it all as the New York fashion world's new "It" girl. Her life is thrust into an alternate universe, where star-studded cocktail parties, casting calls, go-sees, and nightclub openings revolve around her like constellations and she tries to play the part. Her former self, "Catherine," was now a shadow of who she was, and what she was becoming. Leaving her good-girl image behind, Cat quickly learns things aren't always what they seem on the catwalk, and she's faced with a decision that will change her life forever. Drawing on her own experiences as a model in the fast-paced fashion industry, author Nicole Gabor masterfully weaves a timeless story of self-discovery, coming of age, and the perils of first loves.

My name is Madison Garner. But if you call me that, you won't see the sun shine tomorrow. So I go by Dee, instead. My mom picked my name, though my dad tried to stop her but she insisted. Anyway, my best friend is Kendra Byrnes. You could say she's the most perfect girl in the whole world, and I wouldn't stop you. Everybody just likes her. She's Prom Queen, she's pretty, she's kind, she's a true lady and whenever she smiles, everybody stops and stares for a while. I might have gotten the last part from a Bruno Mars song but it really describes her. I couldn't be compared to her. I practically look like a huge barbecue stick when I stand beside her. I'm too tall, my eyes are too wide, my lips are too big, and- well, I don't want to make myself sound ugly to you so I'll just stop. The thing is, I'm not pretty like Kendra and ever since we were five, I lived under her shadow. So when this guy called me beautiful one day after Prom, I completely lost it. It changed my whole life - for the better or for worse, I don't know.
