Long Trek Home

Over the fields and through the plains, coughing animals as their fur brushes past as I zoom into the jungle. Where I trip over vines and leaves and traps animals had created. Scratching my feet and legs and arms, but I had no choice. Stop now and who knows what.
I sprint across a monkey who doesn't realize a brunette female had just run past him in seconds, I know he's following me. Behind any soul that had lived in pain--any soul that was deceived by his eyes, deceived by his evil pretty glare.
Every single one of them understood. I'm just like them--someone who runs for their life but gets taken away eventually. They know who he was, but who knows how he deceived them, caused them forever pain.
But I won't feel the torture.
I will not accept this as an answer--he will stop. He will stop against his will, I will fight him 'til he does.
No matter what.
