This is an AU so it is not based that much off of the episodes of Yuri on Ice -------------------------------- When Yuri Katsuki was 10, the Hot Springs was burned to the ground, taking his mother and father with it. Since his mother was a Japanese known skater, he decided to continue her legacy but memories of the incident 9 years ago haunt him and affect his skating career. 22 year old Victor Nikiforov notices Yuri's odd behavior on the ice during Japan's Nation Ice Skating competition along with a scar from the fire.
