The temperatures are rising. Earth is becoming warmer and warmer. Carbon dioxide levels are only going up. This isn't fake news. This isn't a hoax. This is real. And it's time to do something about it.

Everyone thought that humanity would bring an end to itself with nuclear war always on the horizon, little did we realize that what would happen would be much worse! Nearing the end of the 21st century the population of the world has exceeded 12 billion due to advances in medical science eradicating nearly all disease as well as bringing the average life expectancy to 100 years. A battle for land and resources broke out, lasting several decades furthering advancements in medical science leading to the creation of super soldiers or demons as some would say. All it took was a small tweak to the specimens DNA exposing the world to the most dangerous weapon in recent memory, man! It all started with basic enhancements; super strength capable of lifting twenty times their body weight, super speed exceeding 60 miles per hour, and regenerative abilities healing normally fatal wounds in minutes. Everything fell apart when these "demons" began breeding forming mutations in the offspring. Lasers from eyes, igniting the air on fire, creating matter from nothing. This war continued until seemingly overnight 99% of humanity collapsed dead, ending the war as well as society as we once knew it.

Ever since 2080, carbon emissions have increased by a ton and oxygen is becoming more scarce. Now it's the year 7000, and life is hard on Earth. The ozone layer is completely destroyed, and the planet is one steaming, hot orb. Oxygen no longer exists in nature and must be created by man. Meet Jude Ellis, a 17-year-old teenage girl, struggling to keep her mother and herself alive. She's merely a commoner and doesn't have much money, so she gets money by doing other means. Buying oxygen is no cheap thing. When she finds out that there might be more to than it seems to Deathday in 5000, the day natural oxygen disappeared. She detests the nobles and soon finds out that one would change her life. Dale Crassus, the son of a nobleman and a guard, is miserable. Forced to do things he doesn't want to, his life is a long bore that he hopes would end. He doesn't know if this torturous life would end any time soon. Will Jude and Dale help each other, to make a better life for themselves, and the rest of the population on Earth, or will they let their inner hate, and differences, separate them?
