Along with Aoyama, Deku is also sent into the UA Exam to become a spy for AFO. AFO knows All Might is looking for a successor, and is willing to risk sending Deku inside UA to gain All Might's favor. (First off Izuku isn't totally a sociopath just think of it like Karma Akabane's Sociopathacy. He just has the tendencies like low empathy, charisma, lack of inhibition and love for violence.
