The nine realms might sound excitingly diverse, in theory, but Thor has grown bored of listening to the God's bicker and decided to wander the expanse of Midgard; Viking territory. Humans were at least entertaining enough to wage wars against themselves...and that was, perhaps, all that interested Thor until he met Sigrid. A woman that didn't swoon at his very presence was an oddity indeed, and the relationship they developed would linger through the centuries; both haunting and reviving Thor's love of the human world that mortals called 'Earth'. Look 'bad luck' up in the dictionary. Go on. We'll wait. See there? That picture of an awkward college student tripping over his own feet? That's Peter Parker. He's majoring in chemical engineering, and by some stroke of (you guessed it) bad luck, the only elective available that works with his timetable is literature. Peter HATES literature, but there's a girl in his class that makes it bearable. Not that he'd ever get the courage to talk to her. Especially not with his role as Spider-Man filling up his days, and a new hero (Protonslaught) cutting in on his turf. It seems like nothing can go right for our friendly neighbourhood college student. -------- Amazing cover by EndlessHeights
