Harry asked miserably. "She hated him!" "Nah, she didn't," said Sirius. "She started going out with him in seventh year," said Lupin. "Once James had deflated his head a bit," said Sirius. ~ Lily Evans is basically the girl everyone wants to be. Everyone knows her, everyone likes her, especially one boy called James Potter, flirt, troublemaker, arrogance extraordinaire. But maybe James likes her a little more than he'd like to admit. Maybe. Just maybe. Maybe he likes her a lot more than he lets people think.

Summary: This story goes between the Christmas break of James Potter and Lily Evans' sixth year at Hogwarts to their seventh year, and it is basically just because I ship Jily so much it's just not funny anymore. Lily and James become closer and Lily finds herself falling in love with the toe-rag. Disclaimer: I DO NOT own Harry Potter. Although I would very much like to, it belongs to the queen of story telling: J.K.Rowling. (*Sigh, I still want to own it.)

The story starts in James' and Lily's 5th year. The year Lily and Remus becomes prefects. It's written from many different P.O.V. Nothing belongs to me. I know in most fanfic's Lily have three best friends, but in this one she only has two best friends, and then friends that aren't really close to her. Her two best friends are Alice Prewett and Marlene McKinnon.

Lily Evans was tired of the deviance, trickery and destruction caused by the boys that liked to call themselves The Marauders. Particularly, she had had enough with James Potter and his arrogance. They needed to be avoided. With her last year at Hogwarts approaching, she must focus on her studies and to do that, she must avoid James Potter at all costs, but how can she do that when he so badly wants himself to be with her? What happens when her feelings begin to change? Does she really want to avoid James Potter that much? A fanfiction set in the Harry Potter world before his time.
