i'm taking a break from poems for now :) a very short story inspired by a real life location in Japan known as Aokigahara Forest, or Suicide Forest

"Let me tell you a story," she began, startling me to some extent. "Excuse me?" I would have protested normally, but taking into consideration that she was an eye-candy I gave the briefest possible nod, a five degree one. "Good," she remarked, sensing my lack of enthusiasm and took a deep breath. I wondered how she got enough oxygen through her tiny nostrils. "It is a true story about this park." she began, her exceedingly bright eyes locked into mine. I wouldn't say I was intrigued but honestly, she seemed like a 'pretty' interesting person. She wasn't a person after all.

Jack wants to try something. He's heard his dad talk about it before and he thinks he can do it, too. He's been thinking about it for a while. All he needs is the right person. And then he met Charlie. --- Trusting and unsuspecting six-year-old Charlie is lured away from safety. She ends up caught in the clutches of a young boy with a disturbed mind. A young boy who will soon be a serial rapist and killer--and she is his first. --- She Was His First is a horrific tale that's too unspeakable to make up. It is based on a true story.
