"Not all Muslims are terrorists." You know how people say never to judge a book by its cover? I shouldn't have done that myself. Growing up with racist parents planted a negative reputation of Muslims in my head. So, I started believing everything they've told me. I thought Muslims were the reason crisis was happening around the world. I thought Islam was an evil religion. But, boy, was I wrong. Everything changed, the day I met the Muslimah next door.

All Sami had was space. Space was all that Radia desired. His dorm room was so empty and lifeless that he felt imprisoned in the endless silence. Her bedroom was full of her sister's mess, her ears full of her sister's constant chattering, and an overwhelming feeling of being cramped with no privacy. After much patience and long hardships, when both their wishes are finally somewhat granted, is it really as good as they expected?

Rabbi shrahli sadri. wayassirli amri. wahlul uqdatam millisani. yafqahu qawli. [surah Taha] It is said by our prophet (PBUH) that "if a women prays her *five (daily prayers) *fasts her month (Ramadan) *guards her chastity and *obeys her husband, it will be said to her enter paradise by whichever of the gates of paradise you wish" 'Do you have a boyfriend?', 'Did your fiance confessed his love towards you?', 'Did he propose you? Aww that is so cute', really? How often do we ask those questions and how easy it is for us to answer them as a 'yes'. But do we even realise that it is not lawful in the eyes of our Creator? Do we even realise that we are violating the rules of being a Muslim because Muslim literally means 'the one who submits to the will of God'. The story stresses on the particular topics which the present youth is going through. A girls journey from haram to halal who was trapped in haram things and a lesson for those who attach their hearts before marrying.

Is it really as simple as that? Yusuf feels a void in his heart. He tries to deny it, but he knows his mother's not proud of him. He knows she wishes he could be a little more modern like his brother. He wanted his family to find him a wife while he could focus on his deen (faith), but his idea of a wife clashes with his mother's. "I know that we will never be a real couple, but we can at least be nice to each other Aneel" I told him. I've had enough. Tears were starting to prick my eyes, but I didn't let them fall. He looked over at me in a weird expression. Like if I died in front of him, he wouldn't care. "You don't get it, do you?! I. will. never. love. you! I will never care for you. You wait, every day, for me to come home and have dinner with you like normal couples do- you are pathetic. You are nothing! Absolutely nothing to me. You are not even worth my words. You are a loser who has nobody- your parents? They are just like me. They knew that you were worthless and wanted to get rid of you" he said angrily. I was not angry at him. He was telling the truth. I'm nothing. Never was, never will. I nodded. He was right. He was so damn right. Sahra Ali is eighteen years old when she gets married. It was not a marriage out of love, no, she was forced into it. [This book is a spin-off to "Living Royalty"] She had grown up planning her life. But does life always go according to the way you plan it? Aliyah Hamid, one of the daughters of Zakir Hamid, belonged to the family which was considered the royalty of the town, so Aliyah grew up as nothing less than a princess. An ambitious young Muslimah, Aliyah was used to getting things done the way she wanted them as long as they were within fold of Islam and halaal. When she decides to leave her country to study, she has everything planned out. But when she meets Farshad Abdul Swamad, everything seems to change somehow. And that's when Aliyah realises that things don't always go the way we plan, because the Qur'an states: "And they plan, and Allah plans, and Allah is the best of Planners" [Qur'an 8:30] So what happens to Aliyah's orderly and pre-organised life? Read "LOVING A PRINCESS" to find out... [A COMPLETED STORY] ------------------------------- This book can be read as a stand-alone. You don't necessarily have to have read Living Royalty.
