Scott Hoying - A US Army Soldier of six years, Staff Sargeant of 1st Battalion Cavalry Division. No fears, no feelings. Just fight and freedom. "What is happening, sir?" The woman asks, completely unfazed by the fear in my voice. "It sounds like some sort of fight. I can't see them, but I can hear two men. One of them sounds hurt." I reach to put the key in the ignition, but my hands are shaking too much. "Okay, sir. We will dispatch a squad car now to check it out. May I ask your name?" When Mitch and Scott meet as college roommates, they're not sure what to make of each other. They're so different; Mitch is tiny and alternative and sarcastic and gay as a meatball, and Scott is absolutely positive he's straight as can be. Yet through a shared love of Queen Bey and a few of those spill-your-guts late night college talks, they forge a strong friendship, and from there... Well. Gay shit happens.

It all starts when Mitch is threatening to fail his exams and has to get a tutor. But as soon as he realizes that this tutor is none other than Scott Hoying, openly gay, nerdy student that his friends pick on regularly he tries to do anything in his powers to get his lessons canceled. That is until he finds himself in an extreme emergency and realizes that Scott is his only safe place.
