𝐁𝐀𝐆 𝐎𝐅 𝐁𝐎𝐍𝐄𝐒 | mercy on me, would you please spare me tonight. In a different life, Tabitha Ventrix would've been the purest of angels, harmless to anyone. In reality, she was nothing of the sort; a weapon against the world. She wasn't a Winter Soldier or an enhanced individual; she was an alien. An assassin that was sent by Thanos to take care of any threats that dwelled on the surface of any planet in the galaxy. She was good at her job, too good. In the year 1928, Tabitha found herself thrown to Earth, a world that was still climbing and repairing itself from war; the Great War as they called it. She didn't know what she was doing on the planet, or whom she was sent to kill, but she didn't get to find out. Instead, she was kidnapped by an organization in 1934, along with a man named Doctor Arnim Zola. Zola had been the one to discover the woman, putting her through various tests, trying to figure out how the woman hadn't aged in years. He never bothered to ask the woman where she had come from, or who she really was when her bloodwork never worked. He just assumed she was a god, sent to defend the world against all evil. But that wasn't what HYDRA had done to her. They made her their assassin, stealing her away from Thanos. The Titan didn't notice, but Tabitha believed he didn't care that she was taken away. Shortly after the war, Arnim Zola discovered a man in the frozen area and brought him back to the secret base in the Soviet Union. And that was where they assigned Tabitha her first assignment, one that she would be in charge of for the rest of her life.
