"'Caution. Hotness at work. May spontaneously combust.' I read Ross' neon shirt with something akin to disgust, brushing back my hair and shooting him a glare. 'Really? Really, Ross? I hope you realize that no one's going to find you attractive when you're picking up trash from the ground with a stick.'" When Ross Alderman literally blows up Jenn's AP Chemistry class, the two of them find themselves stuck with thirty hours of community service. Now if only Jenn can last that long picking up trash with him without combusting from anger, no chemistry humor intended. (current cover by @Razeeta)

[Now free to read!] Scott Wilson isn't used to being corrected, and he definitely didn't expect to get his biggest dose of criticism by his coach's daughter - Elle Monroe. ***** When Scott Wilson is drafted to try out for the Marlies hockey team, it's easily the best day of his life. He's cocky and for good reason. He's spent his entire life being told that he's a hockey prodigy and he knows that he's on the path to his destiny. Then Elle Monroe shows up, and throws off his entire plan. Elle - the daughter of his coach - is loud, rude, confident, and gets a special kick out of knocking Scott down a peg or two. Scott doesn't want to accept the help she's offering, but eventually he does, and it turns into a lot more than he was expecting. Scott isn't used to a lot of things, but there's one especially that he's never prepared for: a beautiful, loud girl stealing his jersey every day before their practices. "Sometime in the middle of my junior year, Miss Dennings, my intrusive English teacher decided¬ not even bothering to ask my parents for permission, that I should take part in one of those noisy and useless socializing circles her husband held every Sunday morning. Saying that I had absolutely no need to go there would be a completely pitiful lie because, let’s face it, I was a self-proclaimed introverted freak and talking to a refrigerator sounded way more appealing than interacting with another human being." Yes, I did need the socializing circle becasue of my trust issues with other people. Yes, I did need someone to listen to my incoherent ranting. Yes, I did need a new start. But hell if I knew Joshua Carter was going to be my saviour.

When it comes to seventeen-year-olds Aurora “Rory” West and Kale Mathews, there is no such thing as the concept of ‘common ground.’ Their interactions (the few that they have) are always filled with overly-sarcastic remarks and countless number of trips to the principal’s office. One day, when a particular interaction goes a bit too far, their principal decides to punish them with The Baby Project- a month long project, worth more than half their grade, that requires them to parent a fake baby. In the beginning, the partnership is discarded as a joke by both students. However, when threatened with the possibility of expulsion, Rory and Kale reluctantly agree to make peace for the sake of their education. Over time, something changes, making them question their thoughts and feelings. They say there's a thin line between love and hate, but will a baby be the last push? (Editing but still updating)
