A brief poem about my insight of America today.

A response to a tweet my ex made saying that my name was removed from memories. That I was fading. It hurts to know that someone you spent so much time with doesn't even remember your name. But, as the poem states... this was a pretty common thing amongst our relationship.

When I finally realized that the relationship was truly over. I knew we would never get back together, and of course I didn't want to... but there's just something about seeing my ex with someone else that cuts pretty deep.

The second song I've ever written. It speaks on the vulnerability I felt in a relationship and how that was taken for granted. It also touches on the fact that love is so powerful. More powerful than hate, for sure. If you hate someone, you can at least see them for who they are. However, if you love them, you can be blind to their flaws by the love you have for them.

This is the third song I've written, but the first one I've put to music. It's about falling in love and falling hard. Finding your soulmate and being sure of it. True love, pure love, real love.

This is the first song that I've ever written. It recounts the actual events taking place after my first relationship ended.
