Mount Morrison High School is just like most schools. Normal students, normal teachers, normal life. Or at least they thought so. It wasn't till some students began to see things, flashbacks of frightening things; such things they could not recognize. What could this mean? Was this the future, or just figment of their imagination? As these students wonder, a race of aliens watch closely, stalking their victims. Hopeful they will succeed this time. But more then anything, these aliens seek land. Land they once lived on sixty five million years ago...

Four cliques. One high school. The Kingstale Highschool is divided. The Preps, the Rouges, the Nerds, and the Pariahs. The rich, the poor, the geeky, and the outcasts. When a new boy arrives, the four cliques are at each other's throats more than ever before.

Kate Dusky didn't know why she suddenly developed powers that allowed her to control plant life or link telepathically with animals. She does, of course, now know that this is because she was born in an alternate universe, along with a handful of other kids, where mythical powers and creatures are the norm. Of course, she also now knows that she was born for the sole purpose of eventually protecting that realm with her new companions from evil forces. This is her story.
