I've always loved words and the way they roll out of our mouths, like coils of gold, or flaming metal. I believe that it's always up to us to choose. And sometimes we just can't figure out what to say, we spend years trying to find the perfect timing, the right words. Sometimes we find them, sometimes we don't. But, I've learned that if you look for them, you may stumble upon something greater. So one starry night, I decided to go looking for them.

There was once a girl who wrote obsessively, Painting strokes of words on paper, Using her palette of emotions. But somehow, one cruel night, Everything she had to say turned to dust. And she turned to emptiness, to silence. Maybe you could say that Grief and regret filled her up so much, Until there was no space left for words. And the sky darkened above her As she became a poet who no longer writes.
