Wow, DaveKat! Great. This story is based on like, a superhuman AU. Dave attends a mutant school, and Karkat is a new kid. They happen to be roommates, and eventually get along quite well. Currently sort of working out the plot, so, it may be a while.

Karkat Vantas isn't the type to be easily spooked, but when he is charged with possession of illegal substances, he learns that some things are scarier than they seem.

This story is done and I mean not completed, I mean I'm done with it. I made a remake of it so please go check that one out instead, I truly despise this story and it has absolutely no plot. The new take on it is called: "A Heart Never Forgets". I promise it's MUCH better (aka it has a story, a plan, a plot, pretty good grammar compared to this nightmare of a story and it's just better).
